What is your idea of a healthy meal?

I need ideas. Cheese-free ideas.

  1. spinach wraps

  2. croissants

Its 1 am on a Thursday night and these two things are the only things on my mind.

i dunno.. umm cereal, cuccumber sandwich, boiled eggs, orange juice..

Im into the whole healthy eatin regime now, since i started workin out regularly....no take outs, roti every alternatin day not every day. I have egg whites with wholemeal bread in the mornin, a piece of fruit and some tuna with salad around 12, then at 3 I have somethin like pasta or a little sandwich..Pitta breads are good filled with chicken or some kinda protien, then in the evening boiled veggies with jacket potato, maybe some grilled chicken or fish..:)

No chocolates no cheese no fats cept natural ones and no cakes etc. All dat from my body has gone .. I have sooooooooooo much more energy and skin is glowing. It's so true what they say. You are what you eat. Now my body cannot digest sweet stuff and junk,i tried eating some chocolate last night and i didnt even want it...2 months ago I would have devoured it. Make sure you have at least 4 small meals and eat loads of fruit. :) Good luck

I think croissants are fatty. You can eat something like brown bread or a roll or something
And drink juice like some1 else said here. You ca n also eat Biscuit Salad water LOL!

BTW Gudia ur on diet or something??

daal roti pyaaz is healthy. get wheat pita bread. and cook the daal in pressure cooker, wont take more than 10 minutes. eat pyaaz or cucumber or tomato or mooli/gajar with it.

buy some achaar to spice things up.

saag aaloo / chana aaloo with roti and lassi is healthy. and some salad.

matar/gajar/aaloo pulao is healthy with some yoghurt and salad.

lobyay (red beans) r healthy.

these were very common meals of mine in college. they dont take much time to make.

us k ilava...hummus/baba ghanosh n pita bread.

tuna sandwich. use wheat bread tho.

for dessert have some fruit. have icecream too sometimes. but low fat. u can also make urself some kheer sometimes using the kheer mix.

simple, natural, balanced diet in moderate quantity is the best.

oh yea when u make white rice, make sure to rinse out the starch in the first go otherwise its very fattenning if u make it pulao style

have you tried fresh fruit. peices of crunchy veg ie carrots etc with yogurt dip

Cous Cous salad (pour hot water over the dry cous cous , leave 5 mins) and then add chopped tomato ,cucumber,onion, sweetcorn lemon juice ,salt pepper , sweetcorn ,peppers cougettes(raw) parsley coriander or mint

you dont have to add all the veg just what you have

baked / grilled chicken

put pieces of chicken (skinless) in baking tray .

mix up olive oil, oregano, thyme, lemon juice , chilli flakes or minced chilli from jar,teaspoon of worcester sauce , and salt and pepper

mix up and pour over chicken
cover chicken with foil and bake till cooked

have with garlic bread or cous cous or roast veg

Crossaint has about 700 calories- so unless its replacing a full meal dont eat it :)

Just try to avoid the industrial food whenever you can...

Ummmm...did I mean the homemade beer and tobacco... :D
