Healthy eating while nursing

I have never been a healthy eating person..infact Iv never been a foodie. My calorie intake was always less than required. This was all before pregnancy. My pre pregnancy weight was 47kg(underweight) and I was petite. During my pregnancy I swelled up like a balloon thanks to not eating much and bloating. I used to stay hungry all day cause I couldnt eat much due to all that heartburn and vomiting throughout pregnancy. Still I went from 47kg to 75kg:pullhair:
Now my post pregnancy weight is 61kg. I dont mind the weight but its my BIL’s wedding end of aug so I want to lose a few inches.
I dont expect an immediate weight loss as it takes time to lose weight and I might never get back to my pre pregnancy figure but I want a gradual change by eating healthy. I want to start eating healthy (not just for a few months) so that I dont gain again.
I am nursing my 2month old so I dont think I can go to the gym..timing issue..but I have a treadmill at home. Should I buy another machine aswell or treadmill is fine? Or should I try going to the gym or for a walk? Since Iv never exercised my whole damn life it would really help if someone could tell me some exercises I could do at home. When is the best time to exercise? Is it before breakfast?
Sorry for my dumb questions. With my 2month old I dont have time to do some research regarding my issue so I decided to ask here.
Can anyone suggest a healthy eating(desi-since I dont eat tortillas and salsa etc) diet plan?
Few questions:
-does rice make u fat even if its without oil(khushka that is)?
-I read somewhere to reduce carbs..are carbs bad? i am confused since i read that daily grain intake should be 6/7oz:konfused:
-what about chicken yakhni, corn flakes, milk shakes, orange juice(it says 100% pure but dont think it is), boiled corn, boiled potato/sweet potato, boiled beans and roti(wheat, barley or tortilla/corn)?
-I used to drink lemon and honey in warm water before breakfast..can I drink it now while I am nursing?
-what about kalunji?
-barley juice-is it safe while nursing?
-cold water or roomtemp water?

I have a few other questions..will ask when I remember them..please help..I am hopeless when it comes to healthy eating:hayaa:
