So to wrap up Ramadan, since its coming to a close…
Out with the confessions.
Who really managed to eat non-fat, low-fat, non-fried, low-sugar, healthy foods for iftari and dinner and sehri and snacks? For how many days did you manage to keep the regiment up before giving up?
lol for me this was the worst ramzan ever foodwise! pakoray, samosay, pies or pastry every single day!!
Otherwise, in terms of prayer and ibadat, its the most I've ever done in my life so I'm pleased about that.
I have not been to the gym for a month and am very worried. I mean I lost over 6kg this year and I feel its gone to waste! So I am going to begin the spinning and kickboxing asap IA.
I ate pakoras and samosas but in moderation and i think mostly on weekends, since iftari was usually at work. Also sehri was mostly cereal except a couple times when i ate roti at sehri. But I barely lost a couple pounds i think! Wat went wrong, I dont know!
What a crap...you can eat anything...provided you listen to your body...I mean take notice of the slightest changes in your body and adapt it (the food and drinks intake in a given time and situation) properly...hmmmmmmmmm
I mostly ate 4-6 samosas, a number of spring rolls (if available), dahi baray followed by dinner. I don't think I ate healthy food a single day for suhoor or iftaari.
Just wanted to order nihari and paratha but they dont have nihari
Ab chicken karahi par guzara karna paray ga.
But but but… I can eat all this today as I have been missing my sehri (a sip or two of water) and Iftar (dates and a glass of water) food for atleast a week now.
Tomorrow is my chutti so I feel like having a hearty sahoor
For me this year's ramadhan was hard, working/studying really took it's toll and not only was my food intake for sehri and iftari all wrong and from which i hope i learn from come next year, inshallah. I craved food with high sugar content which has put unwanted fat on.
But one thing that came good from "this month of patience" is that i have had ample time to do ibadat and learn about my deen than i have in the past which i am so pleased about.
