limited sugar. Drink cofee or tea without sugar. I need the te boost from the tea. Don’t miss the sugar or milk.
try to eat organic fruit and veggies.
Please add on to the list and let’s inspire each other towards healthy eating habits.

I do feel energetic and I did loose weight (5lbs in almost month and half) before going for vacation to Pakistan. I have gained all the weight I lost, thanks to the 2 weeks of delicious desi ghee ka paratha breakfast made by my lovely MIL. :)))
have 2 boiled eggs with bread and tea w/o for breakfast. it keeps me full
for lunch and dinner, have salan with 1 roti. and salad. fruit and almonds as snacks. and, drink water throughout the day. finish eating by atleast 9pm
I have dropped 85% of my rice, bread and pasta. I am a huge bread fiend and my favorite movie snack consisted of gourmet breads with different dipping options like seasoned olive oil, garlic butter, seasoned cream cheese, etc. I love rice…specifically Hydro biryani. I also love mac and cheese which was a my-day-off treat for me.
Huge battle but worth it.
Gave up pop completely.
Gave up sugar in my coffee…now I use Stevia and only half a packet if I absolutely need it.
Cut down caffeine consumption (my main source of nutrition for a long time) down to maximum 1 a day in the mornings.
Started green tea.
Switched to better quality meat, decreased red meat.
Started eating more almonds which are great for overall health.
There’s more…like increasing my veggies, etc etc etc.
did you try coconut oil. I’ve been reading that it’s suppose to awesome for your health and body. I see it all over Internet and all the bigger super markets. snacking is the biggest problem for me. Giving up desserts and sugar has been really tough but sugar was wrecking havoc with my body.
try not to fry things - grill or oven bake instead. including samosas, fish, kebabs, chips/fries etc. I hardly ever fry things - only for guests cus they like it lol

you would think that with all the healthy eating i would be a size 0, however due to an under active thyroid im not
i need to drink more water and start eating other vegetables as i tend to stick to the same ones weekly
i really try to eat healthy for my own self rather than weight and i do feel better for it, however i slip very often and then start to feel grumpy and tired and then back on healthy living again!
