Re: Health News Clips

^^ no it's because of stubborn unparh conspiracy lover mullahs who prevented children from getting polio vaccinations. polio was never eradicated from pakistan, that's why vaccinations were needed.

Re: Health News Clips

Thanks Khumi.

Also there are few numbers of polio, fewer than the year before, and it is believed that it can be totally eradicated by 2010.

With the obesity rate climbing of the nation, the population rate is climbing double the obesity rate. I forsee USA is going to notice a mass obesity rate in the next five years unless consumers are made aware of their choices and are given alternate adjustments of healthy items in the food industry.

Re: Health News Clips

You’re right about the obesity issue. I guess doctors need to give warnings to parents who feed their children high fat and high sugar diets :emmy:

something pertaining to that, pediatricians have always said that to give infants and children whole or homogenized milk, because they need the fat for the brain, but now seeing the epidemic, they are now recommending that children be given low-fat milk, instead of whole milk. the fat is still needed, but more so for infants and toddlers, than older children.

Re: Health News Clips

Yeah. But then you see kids who have a tendency, being given fried chicken and french fries, no fruits and vegetables, sodas and potato chips for snacks. Usually obesity runs in families. At least that's what I have seen.

Re: Health News Clips

well..in japan..you can lose your job/salary..if you are over weight....your boss keeps track of your weight..and what you eat....thats so freaky!!!
but it keeps them healthy..so the govt. wont have to spend too much on healthcare....the kind of crises we see in the US and other 'fat' countries...a lot of the disease are weight related....

Re: Health News Clips

OMG that is amazing. Maybe some states in the US need that kind of danda, eh?
