policies differ depending on cost and the deductible.. im insured thru my husbands work but you can get insurance independantly as well! his work covers some of the cost and we end up paying around $172/bi-weekly.
Health insurance can be for just medical or you can have it cover all your medical, vision and dental aswell. I believe it would be better to call around and ask service providers because they are the best people to give u info. hope it helps though :)
glad u posted this thread over here, if it was in religion forum, you would have been told its haram to do so... im not sure if it is but anyhow.. I'm sure people who know more about it will be able to help you ..but wat i know is that if u are a college/univ student, your insurance covers your dental and vision
I only pay around £20 a month and I find that really reasonable considering it costs £10 a month just to insure my dog lol. I'm in my twenties tho and obviously the older someone is the more they pay. My Dad's a doctor and gets free insurance from his company but told me it would cost at least £400 a month for decent cover cos of his age (60+) so moral of the story is to start early whilst ur still (hopefully) fit and well. U can get all sorts of policies, some offer full cover, some offer cover just for certain conditions and/or more serious illnesses. There's loads of choice out there. I know the US health system is very very very different from our system over in the UK tho so best start reading up on all the ins and outs of it so ur well informed :)
