I’ve heard a lot about liver desease among relatives and friends of friends in Pakistan…it seems to me that liver desease are rather common in Pakistan…anyoine has confirmation of this??

Hepatitis A -- Very Very Very common. I think there are banners around hospitals about this one attacking every 10th member of the population. Feco Oral route. Unsanitary conditions (water, food, etc).
Hep B-- needle sharing, improper discarding of used needles in gov't hospitals (ie: The pathan bachas collect discarded syringes around the hospitals and sell them for re-use to companies who supeficially make them look sterilized) Also through street barbers with their infected razor blades (also a source for Hep C).

this sounds as if AIDS could get spread out easily too
besides there is a vaccine against hepatitis A! i had it done before going to India and my doctor said it would be needed for hajj also
