Okay so the built-in speakers are working fine. The headphones are working fine with system sounds but anything off the internet they aren’t working eg. youtube or skype.
So far I’ve tried disabling and then enabling the audio device from device manager. Didn’t work.
Oh and it doesn’t show the headphones in the playback devices.
I hear a extremely slight ssss sound from the headphones if I play something off the interwebs. And it’s hardly audible.
I think I may have accidently disabled something but I don’t know what. Please help!!
Okay I’ve partially solved the issue. Google Chrome sounds are working now. But Skype isn’t.
Also downloaded videos are not working. e.g videos that I’ve downloaded from emails. I can’t hear a thing. But I can hear downloaded songs. what’s happening?
And I reinstalled the flash player, and it’s working fine now. Turns out it was the new version of flash player that was having issues with the headphone jack. Thank you Niksik bhabhi.
