Honestly I don't mind India winning the world cup. What I dread is the post win scenario.
Even with a mediocre team (as per their win/loss ratio and ICC ranking) majority of India feels that they are the best team in the world bar none. The WC victory will just give them and their media a carte blanch
All my Indian friends will drive me insane with their praise of the Indian team and ragging on how Pak did not make it and for the next four years this is all we will get to hear
So for this reason only I do not support India winning the WC. Am I making sense to others?

hey man, all my pakistani friends do the same
i still remember when india lost a series in pakistan, india won the 1st game and i didnt even mention the game, and the next 3 games pak won...and everyday they were in my face. all i could say was it was match fixing...you know how it works amongst friends :D

pidbull bhai I feel for you :-) and thanks for the match fixing tip. I am going to use it as my excuse i.e. the cup was in the bag for Pak but some rotten eggs inside the team fixed all the matches that Pak lost he..he..

India does have the best chance to win the world cup, their fans will be extremely disappointed if they do not atleast make it into the finals. No player is injuired, two specialist spinners and solid batting line-up. After this, India will have long way to be even a contendor in big tournaments, they have everything working for them. Let's see what happens.
