Headingley Test

So who will win the test. Headingley has been known to favour England.

This is a do or die situation for India.
if they win this test, they might still have a chance to win the series but if they draw or loose their miserable record of not winning outside home will be extended to 17 years.
Comeon Dravid!
You are the only hope! :k: :k:

India cant win the series with such a pathetic bowling. Its gonne be either 1-0 or 2-0 for england.

India has won the toss and elected to bat. Sanjay Bangar and Kumble are in and Jafer and nehra is out.

For England Caddick, Tudor and Giles is in.

Das must be upset after his great performance against Essex. Is he injured?

India 15/1. Sehwag out for 8.

not outside home but outside subcontinent

Maadretar Sar jee, please read GUPSHUP POLICIES, especially the section talking about copy pasting copyrighted articles.

ps> cricket is for wimps

India 58/1 at lunch.

Some good bowling and overly defesive batting by Bangar and Dravid.

Although Dravid can open-up and accelerate (as shown in previous innings), I am not sure what Bangar would do to come out of his shell? However, I am pleased to see a good contest between bat and ball in this morning session. A real test match indeed.

132/1 at Tea.Pretty Slow batting.

With wickets in hand and a solid (although slow) start, India has a perfect platform for building a huge total. Let's see if they take advantage of this.

Yeah thats true but the way wicket is playing Indian batsmen needs to give their weak link (bowlers) more time to bowl out UK twice.

Indeed. I think India would be happy with a draw.

India' tactics were right today, slow and steady. The question is whether their bowling can put England under pressure even after scoring 500 runs. As boycott said the Indian bowling can't even bowl him and his mum out.

Anyway good luck.

yes thats a big question but 500 will definitly ensure a draw.
Also dual spin attack and pressure of big total can make a difference here.In the whole series english havenot played under pressure so far.

True. Remains to be seen how England perform under pressure, if India can get to a total of 500 odd.

Have India lost all hopes of winning this test series by drawin every match from now on.

England should be the one to draw not India.

They have to win this one to atleast stay in the tournament.

If this match results in a draw then all pressure will be on India and they will miserably loose the last test kind of like against Westindies.
