Hey guys,
Have you ever seen someone wearing a head wrap worn at a wedding? It’s a western accessory and don’t know how it might look with a complete pakistani outfit. This is for the bride’s sister.
The wrap itself would be a thin briaded type something like this that Mahira Khan is wearing:

However it would be sitting on the hair, not the forehead, like this:
Please let me know your thoughts! Any pics of someone wearing this would be appreciated!

its a headband, basically. would it be jewelled or just a thin silk cord?

depends ont eh hairstyle.. are we going for a 20’s look? (if its in the hair and not the forehead which would give it a 70’s look).
headwrap?.. call it what it is yo.. headband!

thats called a headband and ive seen it done by a few girls. you can try to match the kaam of your outfit to the headband like if you have silver kaam, you can wear a thin headband with sparkly silver stones.. it looks really cute with an updo. i actually wanted to do that at my sisters wedding but couldn't find the right one :(

I wore one on a mehndi once. Was just a guest though.
I think, being the bride's sister, you should have your hair done professionally or in an updo, as this headband style looks more casual, than formal.

i agree with above…unless ur using a braided headband and it makes it look like its ur own hair?

something like this could be very pretty - http://0.tqn.com/d/prom/1/0/_/Q/-/-/Kiera_JewelHeadband.jpg
its a very bohemian look though so make sure your outfit and makeup follow through. i’d also forgo any other jewellery if you are going to go the headband route.

It's too bohemian for a wedding. and a desi wedding ? :p
Re: Head wrap (not to be confused with scarf) at wedding (bride’s sister)
i think if you wore a flowy maxi-dress type of thing, i.e. chanelling your inner bohemian flair, with just the sparkly headband and loose wavy hair, it could look really good. it would definitely be a very different look.
i like how her makeup makes the whole thing look glamorous too-

actually... the long flow-ey aline frocks that are in fashion these days.. you should be able to pass off this hair piece quite easily.
just dont wear it if you are wearing a typical attire like gharara sharara etc.
