You need to have a decent picture editing program. Some newer version of MS Paint, or Picture Editor or Adobe PhotoShop. In any of these programs you can open a BMP and then ‘Save As’ JPG. Will reduce image size many times… e.g. 900K BMP is 30-40K in JPG
