Faisal, you are right ghost images are a problem, however, the good news is that different manufacturers are coming up with different techniques, for example the one I have shifts the image by so many pixels after a certain time period. The shift is so slight that I have not been able to detect it even after full concentration. There are also techniques to remove remove the ghost images if that occurs. I have a wide screen (16:9 aspect ratio) monitor so watichg channels with full screen picture was a problem as I had to change the aspect ratio to 4:3 which left two gray lines on the on the sides, continuous viewing caused these ghost bands on the sides. I now only use it for movies. If you are buying a Plasma to watch regular TV transmission it is advisable to go for a full screen set.
