anybody owns one aye?
nope, they r still kinda expensive over here (Europe) and there arent alot of channels available with HD quality.
I did read some reviews on them, and apparently there s alot of difference between normal TV and HDTV :D
nai nai yaar
ok..i read some stuff and also forgot so unless i can produce that here, i don’t have a right to do ![]()
Yes, they certainly are better than normal tvs :halo:
I just bought a 46 inch plasma hdtv, the quality difference is amazing.I think the normal tv resolution is 640x480 where as hdtv can do upto 1280x768 comfortably.I use my plasma as a second monitor with my laptop and it works beautifully. As for pricewise, you can get a decent(non-plasma) hdtv from under $2k, the catch will be that its going to be a huge, heavy rear projection one. Plus most of the cheaper ones dont have a built in hdtv tuner, which u need to view programming. In US there are atleast 30 channels currently broadcasting in HD, so it might not be worth the price to some, but it will get better in about a year.

thanks for the informative post kaka malang - we have planned to buy HDTV - and i think it would be appropriate for us to wait one year more as you said so that we can get more channels available on high definiton.
