The usb port is the port being used for the ipod and the nintendo code cheat thingamajig.

I wonder how you discovered the power problem? Do you use that Power Options thingy in the control panal?

Once you discovered the power problem on yours were you able to fix it?

Darn…allready bought the HD from Comp USA…didn’t know circuit city did free installs. Box has been opened so I don’t think it can be returned…

ok the problem can not be fixed all you can do is replace the mother board or just use different ports and avoid using that port.
