Hazrat

What is it and when should it be used.

Re: Hazrat

shud be used as a mark of respect. so when u talk to me use it

Re: Hazrat

its also a mark of masculinity waise mem saab.

Re: Hazrat

means something in the line of the english word "sir"....

Re: Hazrat

I didn’t know mem saab was guy. You learn something new everyday.

The reason for the question was two fold:
a: Is it only reserved for muslims or can it be like Hazrat Pope?
b: I would like to call Madhanee Hazrat sahib.

Re: Hazrat

its also used as a mark of disrepect since nobody calls each other khatoon or hazrat anymore......so when u say "hazrat yah khatoon nai phir yeh kia".........u r making fun of them.

Re: Hazrat

Khatoon Ghulail I hear you.

Re: Hazrat

^To me, khatoon always comes out sounding and looking cartoon, I don't know why.
Plus hazrat vs hazraat? oof, I'd rather use Mohtaram and Mohtarma

Re: Hazrat

Uncle Verizon… I am no Hazmat yar. I am a pretty non-violent kinda guy.

:jhanda:

Re: Hazrat

Besides Madhanee is just a cutey pie of a guy, Hazrat is for old guys like Verizon
