God and His Angels
Send blessing on the Prophet:
O ye that believe!
Send ye blessing on him (Muhammed)
And salute him (Muhammed) with all respect 33:56
Who are the Believers?
Those who follow the Apostle 07:157
Which Apostle?
The unlettered Prophet (Muhammed) 07:157
Where is this Apostle mentioned?
Whom they find mentioned
In their own (scripture)
In the Law and the Gospels 07:157
What can this Apostle do?
For he (Muhammed) commands them
What is just and forbids them
What is Evil; he (Muhammed) allows
Them as lawful what is good
(And pure) and prohibits them
From what is bad (and impure) 07:157
How He can help the Believers?
He (Muhammed) releases them
From their heavy burdens
And from the yolks (iron collar/restrictions)
That are upon them 07:157
Who will prosper?
So it is those who believe
In him (Muhammed) honour him (Muhammed)
Help him (Muhammed) and follow the Light
Which was sent down with him (Muhammed)
(Emphasis here is on sent down “with Him” and not “to Him”)
It is they who will prosper 07:157
So who will be guided?
Say : Omen! I (Muhammed) am
Unto you all, As the Apostle
Of God, to whom belonged
The dominion of the Havens
And the earth: There is no God
But He; it is He that giveth
Both life and death. So believe
In God and his Apostle (Muhammed)
Who Believeth in God
And his words: follow him (Muhammed)
That (so) ye may be guided. 07:158
So what is a Believer to do?
Say: Obey God, and obey
The Apostle : (Muhammed) But if ye turn
Away he (Muhammed) is only responsible
For the duty placed on him (Muhammed)
And ye for that placed
On you. If ye OBEY HIM, (Muhammed)
Ye shall be on right guidance.
The Apostle’s duty is only
To preach the clear (message) 24:54
How can the Believer OBEY?
It is not fitting
For a believer, Man or Woman
When a matter has been decided
By God and His Apostle (Muhammed)
To have any option
About their decision
If anyone disobeys God
And His Apostle (Muhammed), he is indeed
On a clearly wrong path. 33:36
Who will witness the deeds of the Believers?
Thus have we made of you (Believers)
An ummat Justly balanced
That ye might be witnesses
Over the nations
And Apostle (Muhammed) a witness
Over yourselves; 2:143
Who will be the Judge among the Believers?
But no, by thy Lord
They can have
NO (real) faith
Until they make thee (Muhammed) judge
In all disputes between them,
And find in their souls
No resistance against
Thy (Muhammed) decisions, but accept
Them with fullest conviction. 04:65
How should the Believer behave when he finds the Apostle?
Ye who believe!
Put not yourselves forward
Before God and his Apostles
But fear God: for God
Is He who hears
And knows all things. 49:01
Ye who believe!
Raise not your voices
Above the voice of the Prophet
Nor speak Loud to him
In talk, as ye may
Speak loud to one another
Lest your deed become
Vain and ye perceive not 49:02
So what happens when the Believer respects the Apostle?
Those that lower voices
In the presence of
God’s Apostle (Muhammed)–their hearts
Has God tested for piety
For them is forgiveness
And a great reward. 49:03
Where can one look for the Apostle?

God did confer
A great favour
On the Believers
When He sent among them
An Apostle, from among
Themselves, 03:164 -
O mankind! Verily
There hath come to you
A convincing proof
From your Lord
For we have sent up to you
A Light (that is) manifest. 04:174 -
There hath come to you
From God a (new) Light
And a perspicuous Book 05:17
But who gave the Good news?
And remember Jesus,
The son of Mary, Said:
O Children of Israel!
am Apostle of God
Sent to you, confirming
The Law (which came)
Before me, and giving
Glad Tiding of an Apostle
To come after me,
Whose name shall be Ahmed.” 61:06
Where can the Believer find this Apostle?
The Prophet (Muhammed) is closer
To the believers then
Their own selves. 33:06
What will the Believers say?
There is no God but Allah, Muhammed is the Prophet of Allah
(“is” present tense)
Ye who Believer!
When the call is proclaimed
To prayer on Friday (-The day of assembly)
Hasten earnestly to the resemblance
Of God, an leave off
Business (and traffic)
That is best for you
If ye but knew!
So where does a true Believer find himself?
All who obey God
And the Apostle (Muhammed)
Are in the company
Of those whom
Is the Grace of God, – 04:69
On whom is the grace of God?
Of the Prophets (who teach)
The sincere (lovers of truth)
The witnesses (who testify, including by martyrdom)
And the righteous (who do good)
Ah! What beautiful fellowship! 04:69
Al-Nur 24:54- Say “Obey God, and Obey the Apostle….”
Al-Anfal 08:27- Ye that believe betray not the trust of God and the Apostle.
Al-Ahzab 33:06- The Prophet is closer to the believer than their own selves.
Al-Muzzamil 73:15- We have sent to you (o men) an Apostle to be witness concerning you.
Al-Nisa 04:69- All those who obey God, And the Apostle Are in the company, of those whom Is the Grace of God,-
May Allah Bless Prophet Muhammed (SAW) and his Family, Like He blessed Ibrahim (AS) and his Family.
Say: “If ye do love God
Follow me: God Will Love You
And forgive you your sins
For God is oft-forgiving
Most Merciful 03:31
Warning
Those who annoy
God and His Apostle
God has cursed them
In this world, and
In the Hereafter
And has prepared for them
A humiliating Punishment 33:57
