But First wehi "Iqra" yeni read Allah know everything why Allah says to Hazrat Jibrail Ask Muhammad(P.B.U.H) to read? Hazrat Adam was selected As Caliph on the base of knowledge so how can Hazrat Muhammad couldn't read and write? Hazrat Muhammad(P.B.U.H) is teacher of all mankind and how can a teacher neither read nor write?
I think (if i'm not mistaken) the command was not to 'read' but to 'recite'. Reading and reciting are two different things.
