HAZRAT ALI (A.S.) AND PROPHET(P.B.U.H.)'S LAST SERMON

This is directed primarily at brother Abdulla.

It is a historically documented fact that
after the Prophet(PBUH) finished his Last
Sermon on the occasion of Hajj, he ordered
those behind him to catch up with him and
those in front of him to stop.

Then, he took Hazrat Ali(A.S.)'s hand in his
own, raised it up for everyone to see, and
declared:

“He who’s Maula I am, his Maula is Ali”

This was the clear indication of the next
leader of the Islamic world, the only person
in human history to have had the honour of
being born INSIDE the Holy Kaaba, the first
person in human history to have accepted
Islam, the only person to have been brought
up by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from birth till
youth and beyond, and the only person with
whom the Prophet (PBUH) spent most of his
family time.

It is clear beyond any shadow of doubt that
Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was the person closest
to the Prophet (PBUH) in all aspects.
His thoughts were the purest, his character
was the most impeccable and his sincerety
was easily the MOST obvious. (compare that
to Abu Bakr, Usman or Umar, who slowly betrayed their lust for power).

This is my answer to those who seem to
misunderstand the profound reality of the
Prophet’s family as being the most reliable
source of Islamic Fiqah, far more reliable
than any Sahabi.

After all, you cannot compare the FAMILY
of the Prophet PBUH to the FRIENDS of the Prophet PBUH.

INDEED, it was the Prophet’s grandson Imam
Hussain (A.S.), and 72 of his family members,
who gave their lives and those of their
young infants to save the religion revealed
to their grandfather.

Where, I ask, were Umar, Abu Bakr, and
Usman’s families when the events of Karbala
happened? Why didn’t they come forth to offer their lives in the service of Islam?
Were they scared of Muyavia’s son?

Oh, but of course, Usman was a very dear
friend of Muyaviya.

The Last Sermon of Prophet SAW

This sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat' (in Mecca).

After praising, and thanking Allah SWT Prophet SAW said:

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn 'Abd'al Muttalib (Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived...

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people".

Mr. Bukhari, let me ask you first the meaning of the word Maula which you have been using for a long time.

Allah SWT is our Maula and Maula of the Universe, neither Mohammed SAW was Maula and neither was Hazrat Ali RAA. This is shirk with Allah SWT, do not say that a human being is your Maula. This only shows the validity of your statement.

Let me ask you one thing, what will you say about the parents of Prophet SAW and his Uncles Abu Jehal and Abu Talib. Abu Talib though helped Prophet SAW a lot but in the end he died without accepting Islam, on which Allah SWT had send one ayat also.

Dear, it is never the relation which is going to help, If i am the son or daughter or have some relation with a religious and good man, doesn't mean i am free from all questions and i am born pure and i will die pure. RELATION IS NOTHING. as said in the last sermon of PRophet SAW, i.e.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.

Got it!!!

Now stop this relationship thing. The problem is that you people act like if Hazrat Ali RAA, Hazrat Hussain RAA and Hazrat Hassan RAA are your beloved ones and not ours, but we do not consider them our Maula as our Maula is Allah SWT only. We respect them as the right of respect is.
