Greatness of Hz. Abu Bakr (ra) very evident but not to those blinded by sectarian hate.
Ibn Abbas (ra) and Abu Sa’eed al Khudri (ra) both narrated: The Prophet PBUH said: I have two viziers from the people of the sky and two viziers from the people of the earth, those from the sky are Jibreel and Michaeel, those of the earth are Abu Bakr and Umar.**(al-Suyuti said Sahih in al Jami’i al Sagheer 2438)

- Hz. Abu Bakr (ra) was a very dear friend of the Prophet (saw) in pre-Islamic times.
- First male adult to accept Islam.
- Closest companion of the Prophet (saw) throughout his blessed life.
- Companion of the Prophet (saw) in the cave.
- Companion of the Prophet (saw) in the Hejirah.
- In death he is buried next to the Prophet (saw).
- Billions of Muslims who come from all over the world to perform Hajj or Umra or pray at the Prophet (saw)’s mosque, (from the days of the Companions to the end of the world) have paid and will pay respects to the Prophet (saw). Allah (saw) by His utmost Mercy has made it so easy for all these billions of billions of Muslims to pay their respects to Hz. Abu Bakr and Hz. Umar (May Allah be pleased with them and reward them immensely) as they are buried next to the Prophet (saw).
Those who are blinded by sectarian hatred will never see or feel the Truth even if it smacks them on the face.
The following is so appropriate.
They know not, nor do they discern, for He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand. Isaiah 44:18
May Allah (swt) reward you immensely - Let it be, you shouldn’t worry - the truth is very clear.
If the people spit at the sun does it make a difference? Nay, the spit gets in their own eyes.
You must have heard the old arabic saying: “The Caravan moves on …”
