my wedding is in oct or nov,but i m planning to start my shopping bcoz next cuming months are of extreme garmi…extreme summers..and then RAMAZAN affocourse…so i want to make evrythng in 2-3 months…problem is that everybody is saying that fashion is gonna change after summer..so which lehnght shrts i shud make,matlab extreme short ya knees tak..i normally wear long shrts of lengght 45 …so i shud make it 40 or wt??? help me plzzzzzzzzzz

maybe you can do the shopping for unstitched clothes now and then get the stitching done later

I guess u should go for long shirt....i dont think that the fashion will change to short shirts so soon.....why not wait till may/june for the stitching....the pic will get clearer by then.

yar i hav heard long shrts are in till sumers but nt in winters and winter starts frm november :S..so extreme confusion its nt possible for me to do all preparation in just one month of october::::(

^ I doubt shirts will be really short by the end of this year... but yes, they will be shorter than they are now
so go for knee length and just past the knee length
don't go for floor length

I'd keep them just past the knee or at the knee and not have any kaam done on the bottom of the shirt, it way if the fashion does change you could just get them stiched shorter..

the long shirt fashion has been in since 2008 so i'd think it on it's way out..

I am already seeing short shirts arnd knee length in gulahmad magz with choridar, its more like short froks den shirts. So I am not sure whether tht is going to suit everyone or not, secondly I myself is jes going to put normal length of my dresses. I dont want to experiment much cuz fashions change so quickly.

short shirts look ugly anyway, so regardless of fashion....im going to keep mine long.....since they look like a dress...and "dresses" never go out of fashion :D

rito yar..me too dnt like shrt shrts :(... i dnt want to wear shrt shrts,,,..u hav done a rite thng...v gud....i m gonna make frock and maxiz which will be long and 2 more long shrts,, and rest will be of knee lenght...is it ok na???

yes i have made 3 dresses yet...........

botle green.full kam wala long airline shrt
ferozi and mustard border and yolk pe kam long airline shrt
apple green with pink frock embroided one..velvet body and embrodary on it...

rest i hav bought only chiffons and i havnt given them for kamm...

other colors which i hav bought are
red
black
plum
mauve
yellow
sea green

m gonna make dark colors frm my side and will make lite colors from my in laws saide,,,now a days m looking for good embroidary designs :)

well dere is a gud news for u all and tht is i ve seen HSY interview in an Amna kardar's Show i ve 4got da name of the show but he said tht long shirts n frocks r in fashion till nxt summers n it ll continue further . i m also getting married in Nov so i m also making frocks n long shirts .... Hope this ll help

i have not started any shopping yet.. even i m looking for some good embroidery for plain jorjet and chiffons .. i have just bought plain jorget in lemon yellow and green in color..
