I was reading a thread in health forum which said that losing weight is easier when you have someone do it with you, I agree completely, and thought that having someone do it with you is easier when you lose weight.
now before your dirty little minds start making this something else, or is it too late and your dirty lil mind was already in overdrive as soon as you saw the topic?
by ‘do it with you’ i mean to get on a program with someone else, it is easier if the participants are losing weight, if you are doing it with the wrong person and there are no results than you will not stick it out, and/or the other person will not want to hang around, and then the results you would have achieved from having someone to partner with go away.
so its not just having someone do it with you, but having the right type of person in terms of effort, commitment, focus, and similar goals.
Re: having someone to do it with you is easier when you lose weight
Hello, I don’t agree what you said. I was over weighted a few years back. At that time i created a inferiority complex and i wanted to become smart ASAP. But the problem is that my approach towards loosing weight was not appropriate. So i think so that loosing weight is not that easy, ( but not impossible). I don,t want to offend anyone but its true. You require a lot of motivation and hard word. It is not that easy which we often saw in stupid sauna belt ads. When i started loosing weigh i was so demotivated because in the first two months i worked so hard and didn’t find any significant change. Then someone advice me to start a weight loosing program under any trainer. And that’s what i have done and now i have lost a lot of weight and enjoying my healthy life. I have searched a lot about the best weight loose programs. Seriously if you want to loose weight remember three things:
Research on the right method
Motivation
Hard Work.

Not sure about losing wieght but definately for training your body in the "Arts" having a sparring partner or several partners is excellent. Theres only so much a dummy or punch bag can do... having a moving and countering opposing force is much more intensive.
Also one can increase effective cross training by multiplying skills and testing different scenarios. Often add extra skills by incorporating more than one technique or style for example boxer v kick boxer or limiting one fighter who has a reach advantage by throwing him a particularly plucky opponent that has greater flexibility.
In the Gymn this can be very usefull. Definately learn to value and respect your partners your lives depend on each other.
