It depends on how important the subject matter is. If its detrimental to my happiness then I won't have people whose perspectives differ from mine. Other than that its fine. My good friend wanted to put her newborn baby in her own room from day one, later she did the self soothing technique (where the baby cries and the parent ignores it). I didn't agree (our kids were a few days apart), I had my baby with me and didn't believe in him crying to self soothe. Our friendship didn't suffer we are just as good friends as we've ever been!

Haha. I was talking more on the lines of religion, politics and patriotism. When someones perspective makes you wanna puke, but you're too scared to criticize them. Or when you don't feel like picking on someones beliefs just cause they're too old.
