Having children to "keep" your spouse

man you guys seriously never cease to suprise and disgust me!

what the !*(&#$)(!!?

if your marriage is already a mess bringing kids into it will not fix the problems with your spouse?!

you'll still be cheating, fighting.. whatever ... chances are even more so..

all you're doing is now bringing an innocent kid into your mess and (&*$@!(ing up their life from the very start

yeah really smart thinking!

the only thing that'll change is now instead of just having your parents to blame for your misery you can now include your kids as the cause of everything as well

relax waqas...

i wasnt referring to solving ur hubby's cheating problem or alcohol and drug addiction...

marriages arent just about that...

Calm down man...:D

Well, psychologically speaking, if there are no major conflicts between husband and wife and no financial problems then having children plays a big role in keeping the marital relationship strong. It's logical to think that having a child will make the father more likely to stick around and be involved with his children...Don't you agree? :)

^ thank u!

its not always about the father though.. sometimes its the wife whose having trouble coping with marital problems (and no i dont mean insecurity and affairs and stuff)... it could be just pressure from ur inlaws and ur own parents...

try thinking of a girl whose been living independant all her life.. who hasnt had to cook or clean ever.. and she gets married and has to live with her inlaws... imagine the demands and tension.. im talking about that sort of pressure and problems...

in this day and age.. the only marriage problems we think about is extra marital affairs etc... sometimes problems arent that extreme but they are just as much to ruin a marriage..

sadzzz in our society there are many other problems that a woman or man faces in a marriage. Many if not most women don't work or have jobs after marriage so in that case, if they have kids they have an extra company or someone to keep them busy....I'm sure you know what happens after a typical honeymoon is over...:D Children help keep peace in marital relationship(well, most of the times)...:-)

yeah i know CA :) sometimes the girl is still in the middle of her studies and the hubby is working longer hours.. just to pay of loans.. and u dont get to see one another... heaps and heaps of things can lead to bigger problems..
