Re: having children in grad school
Ok i am not in med or law school but i had my daughter in grad school and now am pregnant again. And i must say its hard. Kids want your attention and its hard to give it to them when you have housework looming and a project/paper due at school. I have been in school part time so its not too bad but i do feel torn when my daughter wants to play with me and i need to finish up something. Alhamdulillah my husband has been supportive and he would take care of my daughter when she was younger and i had a class to attend or paper to finish. Now she is almost 3 and she goes to day care for a few hours a day so that gives me time to study. I am trying to finish up my thesis before the next baby is due InshaAllah in feb so i can be done and just focus on my kids IA. Not easy but doable.

where there is a will - there is way. You won't be the first one or the last. Yes it's hard but if you have support from family, spouse and friends anything is do-able.
My cousin got married very young @ 16 she had 2 kids in her early 20's and decided to go back to college sit her gcse's do an access course and then went on to study midwifery.. While she was in final year she was pregnant but ended up having her son prematurley he was quiet poorly but she manged sat her finals n got a 2:1 which is well good.! So it can be done just deprnds what ur support network is like or hpw well u mange ur time etc

i have a three month old and planning to go back to school. I think it will be easier for me now thn once he is in school or something. But the only reason i m even considering going back is because my husband is very helpful n understand and also my mom stay with us during the week to help with the baby while we work.
