i agree abt the paak saaf place,in that room no one goes with chappals,its kept clean,there r no pictures,ja namaaz is always there alongwith quran and other books.by room it doesnt mean u close the doors n its sound proof n all that,it simply is a place jo har waqt paak saaf ho.cleanliness is half the religion.
homes with small children have a totally different aroma than homes with adult children .
I think its good to have a place allocated for prayer coz it will reassure you that there is one place where you're comfertable and can have peace of mind in.
it can show your kids the importance of Paakeezgi in that area and the importance of our deen. this is a good idea if you have enough room and if not then there shouldnt be a problem aswell.
My ammee would always pray in our room, even for Fajr when we were little kiddies.. I remember her making a point to pray in our room so when we wake up, we know that we have to pray instead of her asking us… and phir unkey liye humein uthaana bhi asaan hoo jata thaa..
I think its a great thing that you are doing to your kiddo..
