I actually imagine different scenarios when im going to sleep, like dropping a book at his feet then he picks it up and hands it to me then our skin slightly touches and i look up and smile and he asks me if i want a coffee in the cantine.
Or suddnely i faint and he comes to my rescue and carries me to a sofa and sits my side until im ok!

i saw him today…he was on the phone . I was walking to the library and i was blatenly staring at him, then he turned around and saw me staring so i took out my phone and pretended to look busy, when i loooked up again he was gone! nahiiiiiiiiin

Why does he keep disappearing on you Alvena? That’s what I’m curious about. I mean does he know you like him…and he’s not interested in you…therefore he runs away? OR…does he like you but is trying to control himself because he has a girlfriend and that’s why he runs away? (Although that’s immature, he can still behave normally). OR is that his way of trying to get your attention (perhaps he thinks running away from will peak your curiosity about him?). I know you’re not curious but I am.

I dont flirt with him...i just look at him and think he is cute. I spoke to him once when i was sitting inside a confrence room that he booked so he had to kick me out. I run through that convo allllllll the time!
and also no one else thinks he is all that for some reason! actually one of my friends does, but my crush has a friend who my friend has a crush on so one for her one for me!

Pathetic thinking has no limits I guess. It's bad enough that society has its own twisted hypocritical standards. But for one to allow themselves the "EXCLUSIVE RIGHT" to a particular behavior......a right which has no place in Islam and which is not confined to a particular gender is EVEN MORE TWISTED/HYPOCRITICAL.

Alvena, here is a suggestion. I want you to try it out a few times when you're around this guy....and see if it makes a difference.
You said that you were "blatantly" staring at him. Um......blatant type of staring can freak people out because it come of as a rather STRONG.
So, if you know that you're going to be in the same place as him, just DON'T look at him. Be occupied with something else. Don't look in his direction, act as if he isn't there EVEN if he IS there. And for a couple of days go "missing in action". Do this for a while.............and see how he reacts.
He might be scared that you like him. So, act like you don't like him....and that might prompt him to act differently.

That’s what I meant in my post about allowing yourself the “EXCLUSIVE RIGHT” to a behavior/privilege that has no place in Islam. You either follow all the Islamic guidelines…and if you can’t do so…don’t go around judging others and only allowing yourself liberties that were never solely meant for you.
