I want to get a credit card from a bank but my brother doesn’t let me to have one.Because according to him,having a credit card is like a great headache,and one has to pay so much interest,etc.What is your opinion and suggestions regarding having a credit card?Should I go for one?

Having one you can manage to pay off in a timely fashion without paying interest is okay.

depends on the contract and what the Management decided how to get the money back. Imagine you can't pay it back! If you cannot afford, you fall deeper 'n' deeper. I think
people should take credit ONLY when it's necessary. It's Amazing for what people need a credit card and for what they use it in the end.

I only keep a credit card for emergency use while ABROAD only. Even then i think i've only used it once.
Use a debit card, if u can't afford to purchase the thing u want with that, then question if u really need it.

I didn't wanted 2 hv a credit card n my bhai forced me 2 do it coz in USA u need 1 to build ur credit history which is apparently v essential 4 ur survival here, any how I hv credit cards for past 3 yrs but I didn't let the banks earn a single penny frm them, I go shop n when I return home I pay the retailer's bill even when it's not due while with the proper credit cards I pay the full amount when it's due.
The debt circle is vicious n USA's economy is running on it, I hv recently figured out that my credit ratings increases more if i do the minimum payments as compared to doing the full payment. They just want to earn money frm us even after all those taxes.
