does anyone know if its possible to rent out any of the old mughal havelis in lahore for weddings? i know they do basant parties and mehndis and whatnot at haveli barood khana (yusuf salahuddin’s house)…but has anyone been to an actual shaadi at one of these havelis?
i think the courtyard at haveli asif jah in chuna mandi would actually be a really nice place for a shaadi (though it would def be a bit annoying getting all the guests there). here’s a video of a qawwali recital there…it looks stunning…i wonder if they would let you rent it for a wedding too…
