dear shamsa_sh, i dont think its waste of money...since its just a venue option, n i really think it cool to have a mehndi at a haveli.

It's Haveli Baroodkhana, owned by the Salahuddin family in Lahore. I've been there before...the owner hosts a lot of parties there, and lets friends and relatives use it too. But its essentially a private residence, and I doubt its available for rent.
He doesn't rent it out, but he really is a sweet person... and very approachable as well.

heanw...I just asked my mum hehe...she said the haveli is in chuck Salimabad....which is like 15-20 min away from sargodha =)

no, i really didn't knw the distance will matter as much as it did to my family from lahore ...being from Houston we are really use to driving an hour for anything, but that isn't the case with my family and his family.

thats Mian Salu's haveli , right inside old city and the red light district area of Lahore. its largely not for rent. though he hosts celebrity parties there and for more space in his Farm house away from city. Some people may not like to go there, but if you can arrange and get permission through some family and friends it may be possible. then you can say you had the wedding where rolling stones, imran khan, almost all the celebs from pak and india hang out when they are in lahore.
