Shaadi.com looks like a scam website, even the reviews confirm it. I doubt I would ever join any muslim marriage websites, seems so sketchy.

Yeah I know a few people who’ve met through facebook, friends of friends etc and I pretty much agree with everything you’ve said in the context that everyone is a stranger.

I know a couple of people who’ve married after meeting on Shaadi.com.. I know some have had bad experiences on there as well though (fake profiles, guy or girl messaging a million people at the same time).. My brother was on it a while back and did like a few girls. They exchanged messages but it never went any further.. He also used to get lots of messages from the parents of girls, passport seekers etc. etc.

I agree with OP on the accent bit haha american accents soo gorgeous and they make everything sound like its the most exciting thing in the world lol I wasn’t born in the UK so when we moved here the accent sounded so cool and pretty alien as well, but I’ve grown so sick of it …

Lol someone recently said my accent was “twanky” aswell. I was like wtf haha but they don’t get it. It’s cockney london accent, we pronouce words slighty differently

Has your accent changed though? I mean can they tell if you’re a londoner or from abroad?
