Alot of people on GS no longer bother to write in full sentences or full words.
it is actually quite annoying dont you think.
a sentence that can be read in less than 30 seconds takes a minute to decipher before you can reply.
and it is utterly childish
no wonder governments are crying that reading and writing skill of their children has gone down.
literacy rates are at an all time low.
how on earth do people communicate like that.
fine i understand it is slang and everything but what is going to happen when these people go out into the real world and are unable to communicate in a way that makes sense. and that everyone can understand
Tell me about it, i've just started a new job and half of the collegaues i work with can't even put a sentence together and it's so frustrating when you're trying to explain something.
It's because of the evil mobile phones and the stupidity of sending text messages. People write "u" instead of "you". The lack of grammar in writing has indeed affected the lack of grammar in speaking.
In fact if you notice, these new want to be-s are similar in verbal communication as well, typically ABCD and want to be ABCD(etc) speaks in the similar way.
Truly its hard to grasp what they trying to put into words, and the accent they use; makes it more complicated in de-coding these Morse codes while conversation at the same time :s
In practical life, this will create problems to them, management of any institute will not accept this foreign language, and ultimately they have to to change themselves!
Teenagers and new to the technical world are using it.
