It all depends on how fair skinned they are and their social standing within their own community.
a. poor and dark skinned desis: they would have much easier time accepting a African/Black muslim. In their sharaafat, they would accept the co-religionist as one of thier own. No problemos.
b. moderately affluent and 'wheatish' complexioned (oh, I love this term :D ) desis: they would find it extremely difficult unless their daughter has threatened elopement. In case of an elopement threat, they desi parents wouldn't tell the relatives that the SIL is actually black. "He is from Africa", they say and seal all pictures and video footage in a safe. :D
c. Nouve' riche and fair skinned (punjabis & pathans): Pandemonium and honor killings.
d. Rich: they don't need marriages now, do they?
So, if anyone of you guppans fall in love with a black muslim and fall under categories a & b, then your future is secured with your black husband. If you fall under category c, you have my sympathies. If you fall under category d, PM me pronto!

Even more so, desis are still resistant to the idea that their daughter will marry a man who converted, whether before or after marrying her. I know several women who've married non-desi Muslims and desis/arabs will naturally assume that he's not Muslim and tha'ts not usually teh case wth Muslim guys and non-Muslim women.

At the end of the day its abt being with some1 who makes u really happy and allhamdulliah my english white convert hubby makes me very happy. From my experience ppl have been really nice to my hubby but then ive also heard ppl say "oh she married a ghora"-not that "oh she married a white muslim". I guess it helped cos my family totally accepted him as well. But like i said in a previous post he is actually more religious than me.

my chacha married an italian...unfortuantely...due to differences in their perspectives of things and of course religion...they're now divorced she was beautiful...and their kids MA!

Personally speaking I wouldnt marry a non pakistani just because...
so dont all jump on me about it!
and yes it does matter if that person makes you happy at the end of the day in response to amani BUT for me personally I dont think I would be content with a hindu or a christian or some other non muslim. Him being a muslim is a must!! Otherwise I would have too many conflicts, but again that is just me.

was friend with an african girl for abt 2years [went out often]. met her at a wedding [was attending only bcoz my sister had no one to help her with her equipment]. sadly things didn’t work out but she was and still is a great person to say the least. :k:

i agree with you on one part...i couldnt marry a non-muslim either. however unlike you i am open to marrying outside of my culture/race because culture is not whats going to get me through life.....it's my faith..and Muslims come from all parts of the world not just Pakistan.

I think pakis have every rite to marry another paki.. no big deal.. but they dont have any right to go around sayin that Pakis are hte best Muslims, and blacks/arabs/goray/etc etc are not good muslims :halo:

^ i said the same thing, but what bothers me is when pakis say "oh we're better Muslims" than any other ethnicity.. same goes for "arabs are best Muslims" or crap like that..
