there is a combo of red and black by @yas and i nomi ansari had his famous pink and navy combo...or was it black? i cant remember :D personally i wouldnt do it for a desi event maybe at a celebration with my western friends.....although i wear enough black 9-5 mon-fri already so wouldnt mind a burst of colour!!!!!

have seen a bride, her whole lehnga was black, i totally hated it cus our weddings are all abt color so black looked really bad.

I think fahad hussayn does the best with black bridal. I remember this was on gs a long time ago.

somehow ppl dont appreciate the color black on weddings as it is associated with badluck/death/ Watever!! But I wod loveeeeeeeeee to wear blck on my valima. I will ask my fiance that lolz.

really white is considered the color for death in the desi world, I remember the bride posted in the black top and red dupatta and i really liked her look. don't know if i'd have the guts to wear black on my day bc i know how my elders would kinda object to it so maybe a navy blue or deep purple would work.
