Agree that knowing more and more leads to satisfaction, but there are areas in our faiths for which there is minimum information available.

Think about the concept of believing in unseen God (present in various religions). This is where such thoughts arise. What if its not true! I think that this is a thought we all face at a stage in our life.

Not sure..if you have read beginning of Surah Al Baqarah. We are instructed to believe in unseen. So you’re asking yourself something which is only and only beneficial..if you this were to raise your iman not the other way around.
