your spouse’s birthday? Men, if you did how hard was it to lead a normal life after that?
Re: Have you ever forgotten..
real hard. after 13 years she still wakes up and gives me that killer glare. scarred for life, me.
Re: Have you ever forgotten..
I know, she complains the same. I mean living with her for 10 years isn't a job enough? And then my children...don't get me started on that
Re: Have you ever forgotten..
If he ever forgot my birthday..................life as he knows it................would never be the same again.
Re: Have you ever forgotten..
^ 'Why are women so touchy', someone make that thread
Re: Have you ever forgotten..
I don't even remember my own birthday, so you know :/
But birthdays were never a big deal for us growing up, my last one was when I was 8 or 9. Later it was just out with friends and stuff, but never the cake and hat thing. Mom and dad, too traditional to care about that stuff.
I just don't like to make a big deal out of it for myself, birthdays don't mean anything to me.
In terms of women, yeah they will get pissed if you forget gentlemen, so try not too.
However, I'm horrible at it.
My ex wife, I forgot her birthday, then when I'm at the office (as I had to stay late), I get a text from her "happy birthday to me". When I got home, she actually cried a lot, she wasn't mad, she just cried, buried her face in my shirt and cried. I thought that was a little over the top.
The current one is funny, her birthday is in a month or so, and she's already started giving me hints "xxx days to my birthday" she won't say this to me directly but will post it on her FB wall, or say it to other people etc..its funny.
But whatever.

Best way to remember is to forget once. Someone said.
It's good to remember so you can tell them
" Mubarak Ho, You are one year older." :p
Re: Have you ever forgotten..
Yes. I was crazed. I had just come back from Pakistan. Relatives were coming over and I was cooking and going crazy. And then suddenly he asked me if I knew what day it was.

The following year I threw him a surprise superhero-themed birthday party, so it’s all good. ![]()

Re: Have you ever forgotten..
Alhamdolillah my wife is not into Birthday thing at all. She doesn't care about it, not mine, nor her's or son's. This saves me alot from potential trouble.
Thank you wife !

I did a double blunder 1st i forgot her birthday and then i totally missed the NIKKAH anniversary date and caught off-guard... i had it on my cell phone reminder but one shouldn't be depending on it... now i don't think i can afford to forget it again...
