I woke up this morning to missed calls and text messages. More than usual. Then I remembered it was my birthday, after reading the texts. Happy birthday to me!

thanks Maham!!!!....actually Im leaving for Pakistan in a few days for my wedding shopping, and the stress of planning the wedding and getting everything done before I leave made me forget it!

Yes it has happened, when I was away from my family studying, I found out later from missed calls, texts, facebook messages lol.

Thanks Maham! I see you're in Lahore, Im going to Lahore too. Have you ever gone to Mina Hassan? Someone told me I could get a really good mehndi suit from there (something traditional, regal, but still worthy to wear on my mehndi), so I was wondering if you have ever been, and is it worth going to check her out?

Yes I have. Birthdays have never been a big deal in my family, so yeah, I hardly remember anyone's birthday :-/ Well we do celebrate birthdays of the youngest generation now, nieces and nephews etc. But wasn't a trend in our days.

I have not seen her work up close bt i am sure it must be nice. Like i had said in some other topic, if noor jehan's only 25% aesthetic sense and grace has travelled to her daughter, she must be good :). Recently i went to a nikkah ceremony and the bride was wearing mina hassan's outfit and it was kinda nice very regale and traditional looking. But i am sure she must have better stuff at her boutique it just depends what you select according to your taste. I will try and visit it and let you know. Pm me the kind of clothes you need and i may be able to better guide you as to which designer or labels you should visit :).
