Northridge earthquake of 1994 (6.7 msgnitude) . I was approximately 2 miles from the epicenter. Unforgettable morning. I had just woke myslf from a nightmare when it hit. It was all blood glass and human screams and animals howling .....

I felt the tremors for an earth quake that happened in Bahrain (or one of the middle eastern countries), it happened like more than 10yrs ago, but we felt it in Abu Dhabi, I was sleeping, and felt the bed shaking a bit...I thought it was my imagination and then, looked at the glass of water at my nightstand and it was shaking as well...so I knew it was an earth quake.
Then I witnessed the Tsunami that happened on the 26th December 2004 - luckily for me I was in the Colombo area...it was not bad at all for us, some of the fishing boats were washed on to the side streets....
The whole city looked like a ghost town, just news papers flying around on the main roads...one or two vehicles, some ppl on the roads...most of the shops were closed...never see the city look so dead.
Then ofcoz the earth quake that happened this year again in Thailand...felt the tremors for that as well...it was my hubby who felt it first, and then I did too...I was like "hmmm...earth quake happening somewhere...", then my taxi driver who came to pick me up said "Miss...did u know that there is an earth quake in Thailand again..and they have issued a Tsunami warning?", I just ran in to the house and switched on the TV...and there it was...ppl were getting evacuated from the shorelines...luckily the tsunami did not travel so far this time!

Yes, I have faced a terrible natural disaster in Pakistan in the year of 2005 as on 8th October 2005 whole Pakistan rocks with 7.4 magnitudes of earthquake and it completely destroyed the whole northern areas of Pakistan and luckily the fertile land remained safe despite of such high altitude earthquake.
