I've seen many single guys and gals on a very good friendly terms with each other on GS. Many of them appear quite decent (through their posting style, their humor, their interactions with others), educated and from good family background. Some of those guys and gals live in the same geographical area. I see it as a perfect match making atmosphere.

So my question is to all the single guys and gals. Have you ever looked at GS from that perspective? I am not talking about flirting (gosh have we all seen enough of that), I am talking about 'oh boy, this guy/gal looks like I can spend my life with'.

seeing few incidents happened in past i think it is a bad idea. desis are never to be trusted.

but there are few successful stories too so i don't know.....i'd prefer my kids to marry someone they know in real life.

GS is great fun - but to come to this website with the express purpose of marriage in mind seems a bit off. Everyone's reasons for visiting GS differ. One person may be seeking marriage exclusively and could be projecting their expectations/wants for marriage on another person who's just here for a good time. Just because one person may be courting marriage doesn't mean the object of their affections would be receptive to such overtures.

But like the others said, for those couples it worked for - I think it's amazing and for those for whom it works in the future, good luck to them :) Ultimately, to each his own and whatever happens will happen!
