Have you been to the doctor's?

How many of you visit the doctor for “silly” things like a flu or a cough? Surely going to the local pharmacist is a better idea. NHS waiting que’s are ridiculous even for a normal GP appointment, never mind Hospital’s. The first thing someone should offer you is sympathy, then some sweets, not TELL you to visit the bloody doctor’s. By the time you get an appointment anyway, you’v regained your voice and are just wasting time. Yes, I shall not visit the doctor. I feel better already.

I cannot possibly be a ninny! My doctor doesnt have a top drawer as they do not exist.

i take plant infusion, breath hot steam with plants…and take C vitamin, and pray k i’ll feel better soon inshallah, and guesss what it is working and cheaper than doctor+medicines:D

you would be surprised how many ppl visit the doctor on a daily basis.. its unreal.. broke a nail? make an appointment to see the doc.. and if the dragon receptionist wont let you in,... pretend youv got chest pain and ther.. you'l be booked in a flash..

I have got a doc and a pharamasist in ma home, so they are usually too helpful to me during those conditions :)

I havent been to a doctor since what like 5 yrs now..yeah thats it!
My uncle is a doctor in NY so i ask him if sumthings really serious otherwise i just ignore minor things such as flu, cough, frequent headaches and things of this nature!

If I don't get my anti-biotic fast for the 'silly' flu and bad throat, it turns into a terrible sinus infection.

Btw... getting an appointment with a doctor here is not so bad, alhamdulillah.

^ Yea, if i have the flu i just have to go to the doctor's to get antibiotics, or else i'll be in bed for a week! But not for a cough, headache etc...those i can treat at home.

I usually try to let the cold/cough run its course till it gets sick of itself and leaves. Antibiotics are a good quick-fix but leave your body in shambles in the longer run.

I have doctors in my family. So I don't take medicine for anything and nothing is so serious that it requires a visit to the doctor. I have to tolerate pain or I'm a sissy.

have to wait 45mins - 2 hours just to see doctor:aj:. And when he finally sees you - he says: “Take this medication, 4 times”.
I then try to make sense of what he subscribed me:confused:, take it to pharamcists wait 30 more mins - then finally realise it is nothing more than another name for tylenol…

now i have found better way of wasting time → Spam on GS:D

i hate blood i hate needles....

and i hate anti biotics with passion- i cant stand their side effects... so i use our old paindu style nuske most of the time to get better ...

No! out of every other cute and handsome doctor a chinese doctor.

I love going to hospitals to see someone else there who is sick. That gives me a nice oppurtunity to see some hot looking docs… and some of those surgeons… :love:

I only go to the doctor if i feel very ill but not if i've a
lil bit cough or something.
