in any disasters in your Chemistry practicals in labs in college?
Testing or planning to test acid on paper was my worst

we used to quietly mix all the chemicals with other chemicals and put them back. lol
i had acid on my hands and that wasnt very pleasant.

I have never done anything of that sort :) in a way its sad, I don't think I have ever done anything mischievous :(

I went to a private school and private college those guys were very vigilant about misuse of anything from chemistry lab and would watch over you like a hawk.

hmmm letās see:
1: Got hydrochloric acid on my hands off a pipette! 
2: Caused a fire hazardā¦ i was heating something in the fume hood on the hot plate, and right next to the hot plate was a humongous container of a flammable liquid! 
I only noticed the flammable warning sign when the supervisor pointed it out to me and told me to āuse the brainsā!
3: Broke a (300 euro worth of) quartz cuvette for the UV-Vis spectrophotometerā¦ but I didnāt have to pay for itā¦
coz they never found out who dunnit!

i was once dong an experiment with my friend. and he he really silky but short hair. and i lit one strand of his hair and they all lit up
had to rub his hair to let it out

That reminds me, we had one forensics practical on the analysis of human and animal hairā¦ we were provided with animal hair samples but for human hair, we either had to pull out one of our own head hair or our lab partnerās hair 
Since I wear a hijab, my lab partner got to do the honoursā¦ I pulled out around 10 hair off his head until we had one with the root still intact! He wasnāt happy, lol!

Was heating something once and running it through the condenser. Had this small round-bottom connected to it and on a stand. The solution wasn't going so the TA advised me to turn it up a bit. I ended up putting it too high for too long. The solution like went into the condenser or something. In the rush to save it I burned my hand lifting the flask up haha..I hated orgo labs..
Got acid on myself a few times but it wasn't that bad. I remember a girl in our lab once had her entire solution and glassware just like explode. The Ta asked her if she wanted to redo it (since there was half the class left) and she just says "na..I'm just going to bs my results like usual" haha

we were watching the india pakistan series at university and during the innings break we were walking in the lab corridors. we have these showers installed outside of chem lab incase someone spills something on them there are to stand under the shower. so one of my frnds pushes another one the second frnd just grabs the shower lever to keep his balance and accidentally turns the shower on. Now instead of trying to turn it off they both ran off and so did everyone else. 2 mins later we go back and turn the shower off but by then most of the lab is flooded. That was pretty baddd that day. Surprising no one got caught.
