My question is especially to female but married male can answer…

have u got your mehar?in india it is common to hold back mehar until u r divorcing ur wife.only then the poor woman recieves mehr.

how much u recieved is an optional question?

**i got my gas bill the other day and i learned a lesson from it…so, my schedule of mehr payment will be like this:

Cash payment NOW…$100
post dated cheque…$200
paid on/before the “DUE date” [1st child]…$1000
paid after the “DUE date”…$10,000
paid after my death or her “NATURAL” death whichever comes FIRST…$100,000

[if die of un-natural causes, the payment will be ZERO]

so, wife hopefully will choose the highest amount. :rotfl:**

my mehar was a gold set (~ 3 tola, and no we didn't knw that it could be offered in this method,) anyway, it was given to me along with other gold during the wedding. So yes i got my mehar already...and the about has been increasing ever since :)
