How can you be so sure about something you haven't been into....ever
Who knows what hidden personality traits you might discover to make things work

Re: Have u ever felt u arnt marriage material?

Strictly speaking it's not a must, just obviously recommended :)

Marriage never even crossed my mind till I was 24-ish, not for any real negative reason, just it wasn't something I really thought about..

exactly what Colorful Eyes said. you have been in this relationship with him for so so long and now u are saying that u are not a marraige material. I dont understand. I think i am a marriage material, if it means to sacrifice your freedom for the one u are in love with. i ll do that happily.

Re: Have u ever felt u arnt marriage material?

I felt like that right up to the time I got married. In fact sometimes I still wonder if it was the right path. Marriage is undoubtedly hard it means sacrifice and being less
selfish and to an extent less freedom. For someone who's used to making their own decisions it's quite strange to have to suddenly talk about everything first with someone else. You know your parents and your family kind of know you for everything you are and you can be your worst at times and get away with it, it's not so easy with a spouse. Alhamdillilah though so far there are a lot of good things about marriage too such as the companionship and I think I'm lucky in that my husband is willing to put a lot of effort in and do more than half his share which makes it a little easier on me.

Also dating is not the same as being married, unless maybe you're living together. Dating very much allows you to have very independent lives and choose which aspects of your life you wish to share.
