Seems like chooridars and straight legged trousers are more in now rather than wider legged trousers but people are still wearing them.

As per my tailors advise here in the UK 'anything goes' at the moment... I like the long kameez look so am happy for it to stick around a little longer :)

Oh I so hope long shirts stay in fashion for a loooong time still, I love them they look so nice and flowy, I have so many outfits that I had from my 2 trips to Lahore this year and I havn't wore so many of them yet and am planning to have more made when my hubby goes there again soon....don't even say the word SHORT!!! ssshhhhhhhhh

i hated capris i think it made a lot of girls look stumpy and have wider legs, if the capris were going to be fitted like the indian style of capri salwar kameez it would have been really cute but it was always a wide legged capri pant that wasn't flattering to a woman's silhouette. also it's not very islamic

Veeeeery long, ankle length shirts,like maxi are in these days and is hotly in Demand by everyone in pakistan, so chill and enjoy happy long shirt year.

Maybe its just me but the shirts seem fairly long to me still (except for a couple of the pics above). I think anything knee length or longer is a go. Either way I won't be letting go of my long shirts anytime soon :)

I am not going to believe that short ****rs are back. I hope its not true. I love long shirts they look more elegant.

My opinion is that some designers along with the longer shirts made a few short ones as well just to put a variety out there. We are still seeing more of the longer shirts on TV and magazines. That is my own theory so may or may not be the case really.

This makes sense.. Some people I know can't wear the longer styles because they're shorter so they feel wierd.

i just got back from Karachi last week and its all long shirts with trousers or churidars. i saw absolutely NO ONE wearing short outfits and i didnt see them in any stores as well. also, no designer store held short items. when i wore a short shirt i felt like a leper!
