A Jewish couple is on a commercial airplane flying over
the ocean in a storm. Suddenly one of the engines goes out and
the pilot makes a sad announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen,
I’m afraid we will have to make an emergency landing as I cannot
keep the plane in the air much longer. Our radio is dead and
we have been blown way off course. We will be landing on an
uncharted island and probably will never be found. The
passengers are horrified.
The Jewish man asks his wife, "Did you remember to make the
donation to the Synagogue?
“Oh no! I forgot”, she replies.
“Did you remember the Jewish Relief Fund donation?.”
With growing anxiety she remarks,“Oh my God, I forgot that too!”
“What about the yearly donation to the Jewish Relief Fund?”
Now the wife is horrified as she exclaims, “Oh no!! I forgot
that one too!!” But, the husband is laughing.
“Why are you laughing,” the wife says in disbelief.
The husband replies, “Don’t worry, they’ll find us.”
