Zobi........."chaney khao"........too funny. I'm stealing that saying. Now whenever my mom is upset....I'm gonna tell her, "chaney khao".......even if I dont' have any chaney!
^ It sounds vaguely familiar. I think some character in an Indian movie used to repeatedly say, "chaney khao." Anyhow, the characters usually have some line they repeat over and over again like "Mogambo khush hooa."

Urdu is a combination of hindi, persian, and arabic. Although some words like Paap stem from sanskrit...so they're commonly used by the hindus. But it's fun to talk filmi!
not just hindus. in a contemporary setting it usually is used to mock or poke fun. cuz if i had used to word like gunnah-e-kabeera then it becomes a usual serious rhetoric reply. (eeee...i find it boring and EXPECTED!)
i personally think that in order to get your words across, it is better to make your posts something fun and lively, so ppl not only read your post but also extract something positive out of it. may be just a smile!
