It shud mke u feel more fortunate by looking at people below u.
when u fl miserbale u shud always do this.
Its prophet (pbuh) advice.
Therre r peolpeless tha us no matter what state we r in.
Look at people who dont have legs or arms for example.
No matter how we are, atleast Allah has not deprived us of these and we are made dependant of others.
Mya Allah have mercy and bestow himmat on such people.
Ok im out
Re: Have anyone of you ever thought about commiting a suicide in your life? :)
A man should committ suicide in 2 steps:
Step 1: chop your bollocks off as a gesture that you have given up being a man.
Step 2: choke on what you chopped off in step 1 and die - you do not deserve better.
Having said that, I pray Allah never puts me into those depths of depression and hopelessness, but I would rather kill someone who puts me into that position than to kill myself. Just a thought.
PS: Do not try this at home.
PS: There always, ALWAYS is someone in a worse situation than yours. Life is tough, fuggin deal with it.
Re: Have anyone of you ever thought about commiting a suicide in your life? :)
Wow Jaanwar, very well said.
No, I believe people who even think of killing themselves are ungrateful for their lives. Besides that, they are selfish as well.
So what if you've got problems? Every single person walking on the face of this earth has problems in their lives. Do you see everyone killing themselves?
Ameen to Jaanwar's du'a. We should put our faith in Allah, no matter what situation we are in. There's this saying: If Allah brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
But on the other hand, I always wonder what is going through that person's mind which makes them take such a bold and irresponsible step.

I’ve never even contemplated it, never even crossed my mind to do such a thing, because through the highs and lows of life, i’ve always been grateful for what i have been given, and through the lows i know that it’s just another test i face from Allah and i can come through it with the support of my family… HOWEVER this topic is close to my heart; in my previous line of work i worked in the RAF, and the reason i decided to leave was because of the prospect of being deployed in IraQ/Afhganistan for a reason i didn’t believe in… my 6yr contract was coming to an end anyway so it was quite straight forward for me to leave and my hubby was already financially stable so it would not have a big impact on our lives financially, however most of my ex-colleagues (predominantly male) were the sole providors in their family unit so it was not feasible for them to terminate their contracts… and i have lost count of the number of my ex-colleagues who have commited suicide whilst waiting in the Reserves in the UK, out of fear of being deployed into a situation that is wholly wrong…the number who have commited suicide whilst out there because of the unjust things they have seen/done… these stories you don’t really hear in the news… you just hear about the opposition killing the western soldiers… and tbh i dread to think what would have happened to me if my contract didn’t expire… and i thank Allah everyday in my prayers for it.
Re: Have anyone of you ever thought about commiting a suicide in your life? :)
ya, i've been thinking of committing sue-side since yesterday =(
but i haven't come up with what will kill me faster =(
I thought of the knife - but i'm even easy on the chicken and veggies i cut - so i'm sure it would be painful if i try it on ma self =(
i thought of the bridge cause i heard it few times that people have "drowned" and died - but the bridge is 4 miles from my place =( ..don't feel like walking all that in this rain =( ummmm maybe next time when it's sunny :)
ummm... i have also thought of going up the building and jumping out - but the only access I have to an open window is on the second floor =(
i've thought of pretending innocently to cross the street, and when the car comes just jump off in front - ye that might kill me - but then i though - poor driver will be mortified and it's not even his fault. So i skipped that.
ummm sochte hai what other ways can kill me quickly... any help?

oh my God. That is terrible. I thought this thread was a joke, but it's very sad to have been in yours and your colleagues situation.:(
Re: Have anyone of you ever thought about commiting a suicide in your life? :)
The thought of "calling it quits" is not an uncommon thought, actually. Many people have contemplated the idea of willingly leaving this world.
For some people, it's just a fleeting thought. It enters their mind, but their faith is stronger, so they get back on the right track again.
For other people, they feel so hopeless that suicide is not just a "what if" fleeting thought. Rather, it becomes an issue of serious AND frequent contemplation.
**
From a religious standpoint:** It's forbidden because it reflects despair in the mercy of Allah and that in itself is Kufr (disbelief). There are people who are surviving a life ridden with gut-wrenching challenges. Their misery is nothing compared to yours.
**
From a moral standpoint:** Your life is connected to many people. It's selfish to end your life because it leaves your loved ones with UNANSWERABLE QUESTIONS...and that's what hurts most. For the rest of their life they're going to wonder, "Was I a bad mother/sibling/wife?" "Could I have done something differently to prevent the suicide?" "Did I do something wrong to cause him to take his life?"It's an unbearable burden to carry for those people that you leave behind....and they shouldn't have to go through such pain.

My paindo barber once said "whats the point of killing your self?, if re so fed-up abandoned your current life move far away and start life as a new person "
PlayStation:: I live in canada now :(
Re: Have anyone of you ever thought about commiting a suicide in your life? :)
And what about those who kill tehmselves AND others?
Sadly this is a reality for many others, as we have seen in the binghamton shooting, and lately even more disturbing, men who end up killing themselves along with their entire famillies (children, wife etc).

ye Sara that's a tough new issue we have to face now adays.
I wished the suiciders would just kill themselves and not take others with them. :(
