Firstly, thanks a lot FKhan bhai for providing the video of M. Irshad.
Honestly, this guy doesn't look as good as Asif . He seems pretty ordinary as compared to other bowlers. I mean we used Rao Iftikhar, Yasir Arafat and now M. Irshad. I am sure that Pak got way better bowlers than this. I mean in the nation of 140 million, we got only bowlers with 130Km/h speed. Comeon, we got to find someone better than this. I thought Riaz Afridi would be a good choice but seems like he's not having luck right now.

what about Anwer Ali Khan from U19? Maybe Pak should give him a chance in Srilanka (where he performed well in U19 worldcup)

Dont let just one clip to pass your verdict. Irshad is really quick and close to shoaib in terms of speed. Its the guile and accuracy he lacks.

His arm looks fine, look at the white stripe of his bowlng arm, which isnot bent to me at any point.
His action reminds me off Moh Akram, specially when his foot lands at return crease and then onwards.

he's a very ordinary bowler. He might have speed, but not as much as Akhtar's but he doesnt have any control of his line or length. Another Sami in the making.

Bob Woolmer debunked the Irshad speed demon myth a long time ago. He isn't anywhere as quick as shoaib, but can get it around 142 km/h.

^ considering how stupid our PCB is, sending someone to play anyone is not really an assurance that he is good. we all saw his performance and Asif’s performance there, still PCB sent Khalil to play against India .
