Salam everyone,
I came back on GS after a long time. Here I am posting some pics of our visit to HATTA on 3rd Oct 08. You can see one more member of GS in these pics. YES he is none other than nakhan.

Salam 2 All,
**Shining_star **Hatta is far from Al Ain, its near Oman border.
We enjoyed aloooooot there, Altima main offroad k mazay :)
will post some other pics of Hatta Heritage Village

Oye nomi bhai... u can go to oman from hatta too! i went on a road trip in the summer! you can access oman from al ain too! but they are opposite to each other.. al ain and hatta i mean..

haan yar mujhay pata hay k Oman border Hatta or Al Ain dono say lagti hay lekin samajh nahi aa raha tha k SS ko kesy btaon Hatta kahan hay hehehe

During my UAE posting days (1983-93)...I have had some best retreats/picnics at HATTA..where they also have this wonderful HATTA FORTE HOTEL.
HATTA is a sandy/hilly area...located between DUBAI & ALAIN.
Interestingly...the routes between ABU DHABI - DUBAI and DUBAI-ALAIN are exactly the travel of 1 hour 50 minutes by car....its like a triangle.
HATTA is worth the visit...and I am sure..by now they must have developed it more on hotels and chalets etc.

haa ok..because i have never been to hatta,what i used to think about it is that,either it's in alain or near alain..,but i think,my thinking wasn't that wrong..:)
