grudginly i should admit that pakistan has played mutch better. Actually all through out the series. Though India came back each time, there is a clear difference between the intensity in which the two teams played. Pakistan was more aggressive in their batting, and bowling. Though sometimes i felt that they should have declared boldly as well.
Indians were clearly lacking agression. Only in the second test, during dhoni's counter attack there was some semblance of attack. Other than that there was no real aggression. Sehwag played like his usual self in the first innings of the fist test but not as distructive as Afridi.
Over all well played pakistan, and hope indians do show some aggression and comes up with a better performance in the one day.
I finally like to thin that it is one bad bay that cost the match and like to believe that my team can come back strongly in the one day matches, and also pray to god that let winning this test gets into the head of the pakistani team and take india lightly in the one dayers.:)
Masha-Allah, I am very proud to see a new and improved Pakistani team. If we continue on to perform like this, :insha: we will have little to no difficulty in winning next year’s World Cup. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all guppies who continued to be a part of the commentary thread, as all of us enjoyed reading (and visualizing) different comments from all aspects. Lastly, it was a lovely sight to see (almost) all muslims praying for team’s magical comeback after 39/6.
Great performance. Better team. Now they are becoming truely No 2 team and they way team is shaping up I think they will be strong contender for WC 2007along with AUS and SA.
Congratulations to Pakistan for a magnificent win.They showed great character and spirit and that was the biggest separating factor between the two teams. The way pakistan team is developing,they will soon be the biggest challengers of Aussies because of the fact they have an attack that can take it to the opposition (the second biggest separating factor in this series) in any conditions.
